A Musical Celebration

The Fredericton Symphony Orchestra (FSO), formed in 1976, will be having a gala musical celebration at The Playhouse (Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30) to celebrate its 50 year history. The featured work on the concert will be a performance of Haydn’s Paukenmesse, which will be performed in collaboration with special guests, the Fredericton Choral Society, and soloists Olivia LaPointe (Soprano), Jillian Bonner (Contralto), Shane Scott (Tenor), and Paul Bustin (Baritone). Rounding out the program will be performances of Brahm’s Academic Festival Overture and Fauré’s Élégie featuring Emily Kennedy on cello.
